Unless you are right into your intended lifestyle changes you will not be likely to succeed.
You must believe in the value of the diet and fitness tips you take on board or you will make a half hearted effort and be doomed to fat loss failure.
And you really must not fail because you have to live the best life you can for as long as you are able. You owe it to yourself.
You deserve a fit and healthy lifestyle, but you have to put in a bit of effort to achieve the results you crave. But don't worry, it gets easier the longer you keep at it. After just a few short weeks, you will start to enjoy your shrinking shape and heightened fitness. Life gets better and better.
Don't be put off by diet and exercise setbacks. We all have setbacks, major and minor in all aspects of our life. It is the people who stay focused on their goals that are the winners in the long run. Never give up, never surrender.
Take my diet advice. You have to see life's road bumps and potholes as challenges that can be overcome. They are not insurmountable barriers for you or anyone else unless you choose to see them that way. Go over, through or around them, but get past them and you will never ever look back.
You are going to live a longer, fitter, healthier, happier life. You must convince yourself that the benefits of a nutritious diet and regular exercise far outweigh the drawbacks of having to put in the effort of changing your long term poor eating and (lack of) exercise habits.
Diet advice can be confusing and contradictory. A simple rule of thumb is if it sounds too good to be true, it cannot be true.
Save your money. Hold onto your sanity. The quick fix does not exist. You must not kid yourself that you will be losing weight with a magic pill washed down with your regular teatime strawberry thick shake and cream donut.
The only way anyone loses weight is by calorie deficit - you have to burn more calories than you take in. Some diet programs may call the calories by a different name, like "points" or "units" but at the end of the day, the formula remains the same.
Eat less than your body currently needs to sustain itself and it will start to gnaw determinedly at your hated fat deposits.
Eat the best quality, freshest and least processed food you can get your hands on every day to maximise the nutritional value of all you eat.
Losing weight is hard enough, but the best diet advice to get hold of is good information on how to keep the weight off once you've done the initial hard yards.
Many people lose their fat only to gain it all back and more because they haven't gone about losing weight the right way in the first place.
What a tragic waste of effort. If you keep your weight off for 1 year, you have 60% chance of permanent weight loss. After 2 years, it's 75% chance. After that, the vast majority of dieters have lost weight forever. Get informed with the right diet advice and you will be one of these people.
